Innovative Student Health Center Integrates Comprehensive Care
Reser Health Center
Located on the southeast corner of Oregon State University’s Reser Stadium, the new Health Center is a four-story, 25,000 SF outpatient clinic that will provide year-round health and wellness services including primary care, counseling, and laboratory services.
OSU is also leasing a portion of the building to community health partner, Samaritan Health Services, which will offer primary care and urgent care services to faculty, staff, and the broader Corvallis community.
Holistic Health Care for the Campus and Community
The new clinic offers support for students navigating healthcare on their own by offering modernized facilities and a patient-centered care model. This approach encompasses a wide range of services, including primary care, birth control, travel immunizations, and mental health counseling. By housing both mental and physical health services in identical rooms along the same corridors, the OSU Health Center reduces stigma associated with mental health care, emphasizes the mind-body connection, and ensures students receive holistic support.
The site location allows integration with a nearby community-based clinic for additional outpatient service, diagnosis, and treatment with radiology equipment, ensuring easy access and transport for students and the community.
