Medical Building Consolidates Services and Programs
Oregon Clinic
This three-level, 101,000 SF medical office building allows the Oregon Clinic to consolidate multiple services and programs under one roof. The clinic houses 11 separate departments, featuring dedicated spaces for medical oncology, cardiology, nuclear medicine, MRI, and a sleep lab. In addition, the building includes administrative offices and support space, and is designed to accommodate four levels of future expansion.
The project is located at the busy Gateway Transit Center, a public transit hub. Concurrent with the MOB, Hoffman built a three-level parking structure for shared use by the Oregon Clinic and light-rail commuters. Originally designed to meet LEED Silver standards, Hoffman suggested design innovations that boosted the finished project to LEED Gold. A 400 SF data center with APC in rack cooling units connect to the building’s chilled water loop. A secondary chiller was installed to address cooling during winter.
