Complex Airport Expansion Creates New Gateway to Pullman-Moscow Region
New Terminal Expansion
This expansion includes a new 41,000 SF building, 450 new public parking spaces, 90 rental car parking spaces, 3 gates, an apron with 4 aircraft parking positions, and pre-secure and post-secure concessions spaces. The terminal’s construction takes place on a greenfield site adjacent to an active runway. Hoffman owns the complete supply, coordination, and installation of the baggage handling system.
The team is coordinating with TSA, GSA, and FAA to move in their security systems and equipment and tie into the building systems, with close collaboration with TSA as it relates to baggage scanning devices. The terminal building includes specialty systems for security and telecommunications around the entire airport and our new terminal. The team is also managing funding with the FAA as it relates to eligible portions of the project’s different funding streams.
