Using pre-ozonation for primary disinfection, Hoffman built all the civil structures and installed all the process and mechanical systems for this 50 MGD water treatment plant, used for combined drinking water and irrigation. The project includes buildings for administration, ozone generation, chemical feed and maintenance as well as five basin structures for water treatment. Primary disinfection is provided by two 750-pound-per-day ozone generators. An array of filters and water treatment process systems ensure pure water quality. The automated facility was designed to accommodate future expansion to double its capacity.
