Fab 52 is the biggest fab Hoffman has built to date and will provide more than 2.9 million SF of overall space. Numerous design elements are first-of-a-kind, which truly make this the Fab of the Future.
Cleanroom space is roughly 685,000 SF and support buildings include two boiler chiller plants (BCPs), an ultra-pure water building (UPW), a wastewater treatment building (WWT), and an emergency generator building (eGEN).
Hoffman has been implementing new offsite manufacturing techniques to bring components into the fab in preassembled pieces, reducing site congestion, increasing worker safety, and speeding work.
