Critical County Government Building is Key Part of Red Soils Master Plan
Development Services Building
The LEED Gold Development Services Building for Clackamas County’s Red Soils area is part of a master-planned campus of consolidated county functions, with a special focus on sustainability. The project includes a plaza and a utilidor connecting the building to a central utility plant for chilled and heated water. The building consists of four stories rising above one level of parking. The complex façade of brick, pre-cast concrete, and glazing was a constructability challenge; the team built a complete mockup of a section of the façade at the site, allowing them to resolve issues before work started. Hoffman also built a 900 SF server room to serve this critical county government building.
