Flexible and Responsive Renovation in an Occupied Courthouse
Clackamas County Courthouse Renovation
This 5,765 SF expansion increases security and capacity at the Clackamas County Courthouse. The three-phase project included site and utility upgrades, a courthouse expansion with holding cells and a vehicle sally port, and renovation of the existing courthouse. Throughout the project, Hoffman maintained tight security, ensured no disruption to power or data during utility relocations, and minimized dust and noise disruption to the existing courthouse. Key to success was remaining flexible and responsive to the evolving needs of County, Court, and Sheriff departments in the occupied courthouse. Hoffman found a number of cost savings during the project that enabled us to integrate wish-list items within the GMP, including a full exterior brick point tucking, cleaning, and sealing that was overdue.
