The meeting brings minority, women and small emerging small business owners together with experts and leaders in business and government.

The Contractors & Architects/Engineers/Professional/Technical Meeting is held the second Friday of each month at OAME. This meeting is oriented towards upcoming projects and opportunities for businesses in those fields, but every business type is welcome to attend. This meeting brings minority-owned, woman-owned and emerging small business owners together with experts and leaders in business, government and other areas vital to business.

Attendees of the meeting share common issues and learn about business trends, opportunities and resources. This is a great opportunity to network and establish relationships with other business owners. Each month we have speakers on the agenda to discuss and present local construction projects and give updates on issues related to the community.

OAME works as a partnership between minority entrepreneurs, education, government, established businesses and the community. Its mission is to promote and develop entrepreneurship and economic development for ethnic minorities in Oregon and SW Washington and thereby reducing racism, poverty and discrimination.
