Fire Station 10 brings together three critical facilities for the City of Seattle's emergency and disaster response: Fire Station 10 Operations, the Emergency Operations Center and the Fire Alarm Center. Constructed to “essential facility” performance standards, the station has post-disaster stand-alone capacity and state-of-the-art communications technology, including facilities for media production. The Fire Alarm Center is the 911 call facility for Fire and Medic One emergencies, and provides space for training new dispatchers. Additional equipment and support spaces are distributed throughout the facility.
