Hoffman was first selected to build the County's Public Services Building in the Red Soils area in 2003. Since then the County has selected Hoffman for additional phases of work related to establishing the Government Campus, including a central utility plant, underground utilities and the Development Services Building. The new master-planned campus is allowing the county to consolidate offices that were once scattered among dozens of locations in several cities. The Public Services Building was certified as LEED Silver with features including a mechanical system carefully optimized for energy efficiency.
