Not only was this project built in the middle of campus, it tied into an existing research and classroom laboratory facility. This put a premium on project coordination with the ongoing academic program to avoid distracting students and staff. The three-phase project consisted of building a two-level addition that provides a new main entry and 11,000 SF for new laboratories. Renovation of the existing building was divided into two phases to accommodate laboratory usage.
